There have been recent changes to requirements for Builder Licences in South Australia. 

Effective from 1 July 2020, all SA builders who work in ‘major residential construction’ must now provide a certificate of eligibility for building indemnity insurance with their licence application.  A letter from an accountant is no longer accepted in order to obtain and maintain a builder licence.
